Gone are the days I can set Andy on the floor and rest assured he will be in the same spot I placed him. The other day I set him in his car seat (unbuckled) and went to go grab something
from the kitchen. When I came back into the front room he was lying on the floor three feet away from the chair looking up smiling at me. It was like a magic trick! I had to do a double take and thought "how on earth???" He's starting to pick up on his grandpa's magician skills. It really scared the crap out of me. Just hours later he demonstrated his master scooting skills by dragging himself across the floor to grab a toy. This can only mean one thing I need to get done.... babyproofing.
Andy and I went to visit his cousin Josef to help him and his parents pack because they are moving to Tennessee. Josef needed a bath so we decided to throw (well, okay not 'throw'- gently place) Andy in the tub with him. It's quite cute because Andy is in the 2nd percentile in size for his age and his cousin is in the 97th. Let's just say both of Andy's butt cheeks equal one of Josef's butt cheeks. They are the two most adorable boys! We call them the second set of twins because their dad's are both twins to each other. We will miss having Josef so close by to play but look forward to taking trips to the south each year!
