A Couple Fun Pics

Oreos!
How to end a very long day.

Bonk!

I couldn't get the camera in time for the funniest part. He was crawling into the wall and laughing his head off, and he just started doing it all on his own. This video is a few minutes later when I found that if I kept saying "Bonk!" he'd laugh and hit his head against the wall again. Like I said, not as funny as when he was crawling into the wall of his own accord, but still very entertaining. -Matthew

Amber's not the only one who can Digitally Scrapbook!

This is a custom made, hand-crafted (well, mouse-crafted), one-of-a-kind, genuine, made-by-Matthew scrapbook page. Amber's not the only one who can do it! Though, Amber's are a little more artsy :)

Removing Blog

For those of you who don't know, After Andy was born and spending time in NICU I decided to make him a care page. I've left it up to keep everyone updated about his cardiology appointments. Ironically, it gets barely any traffic so I've decided to take it down. Also, I don't update if very often just because I don't want to take the time to write everything out when I've already told everyone I feel like sharing info with. If you want to see the pictures I have there one more time before I take it down or if you've never seen it before here is the link http://www.theheartofaboy.blogspot.com/

The Heart Is The Only Broken Instrument That Works

Listen
When I ask you to listen to me and you begin to tell me why I shouldn't feel the way I feel, you are trampling on my feelings.
When I ask you to listen to me and you feel you have to DO something to solve my problem, you have failed me, strange as that may seem.
LISTEN- All I ask is that you listen, not talk or do, just hear me.
And I can do for myself, I am not helpless, maybe just discouraged and faltering.
When you do something for me that I can do for myself, you contribute to my fear and weakness.
But when you accept as simple fact that I do FEEL what I feel, no matter how irrational, then I can quit trying to convince you and I can get about the buisness of understanding what's behind this irrational feeling. And when that's clear, the ansers are obvious.
So, please listen and hear what I'm saying and feeling.

I got this from the training I did today to become a NICU Parent Support Volunteer. Ironically, it was perfect for me and conveyed exactly how I feel.
