What's new with us? Well... a lot, it's been so long since I last updated this blog. Having two boys is proving to keep me really busy and consume all free time that I ever had before I was a mother.
Sam is scooting all over creation. Both of my boys refused to really crawl on their hands and knees. They do kind of an army shuffle and push off with one foot. I used to love watching Andy get around this way so it was a fun surprise when Sam started to do it too. Sam is also pulling himself up on furniture and motoring all about. He is EXTREMELY independent. He absolutely has to explore and move around. He doesn't like to be confined or held for too long. Anything that Andy does Sam has to be right there alongside him doing it too. It upsets Andy because usually Sam wants to undo whatever it is Andy is doing... puzzles, building blocks etc. Sam has an adorable personality and is pretty funny. He's so head strong it makes for a lot of funny situations. He also has a mow-hawk that makes everyone smile. (It just grows that way.)
Andy is in preschool. He goes two times a week. Starting in August he will start at a new preschool that I have been waiting for him to go to for a while. Lately, Andy talks non-stop. He always needs me to follow with a response and at times he his relentless. He is just so fascinated by the world that he wants to discuss it constantly. All this coming from the little guy we were having a hard time teaching how to talk. It's like he bottled it all up and now he's just exploding with conversation. He is extremely affectionate towards me lately. He's a pretty kind brother too as long as Sammy isn't trying to play with the same toy he has. I am trying to grow out his hair because I miss the little guy's long hair. He constantly gets to hang out with his Nana and Papa and his cousins. He is pretty social and is always asking to play with them.
Matthew is in Westminster College studying accounting. Right now he is the Loan Manager at American United FCU. On top of work and children he has managed to stay on the dean's list for his awesome grades for school. That's amazing to me because he works full time and goes to school full time and let's not forget he is a daddy to two little boys!
I am busy, and I mean busy being a mom. Hence the reason the blog never gets updated. I didn't anticipate how much work it would be and how little spare time I would have raising two rambunctious little boys. I've had my mental melt downs and it hasn't always been pretty but I sure do love my family and feel extremely blessed for all of my boys.
